Hope everyone had a very nice and safe holiday!
This was the first time in 2 years that I have gotten to celebrate it here at home and it was a change that’s for sure.
Last year I was watching the fireworks on Waikiki Beach and the year before I was on Moon Beach in Okinawa, Japan lighting off sparklers with my new Japanese friends :)
Today, I spent 3 hours watching Can’t Hardly Wait (a classic favorite) and The Real World Cancun with my brother and cousins. We then took off to get bubble tea and attempted to play Taboo but gave up and drove to the beach where we stayed for exactly ten minutes.
Then I ended the night by watching the fireworks from this hill in Kirkland, which happens to be one of my favorite places with my friends.
