- Cancelled show, The Beautiful Life, will return to finish off their season in the summer.
- Levi Johnston – the baby daddy of Sarah’s Palin’s daughter – will not be showing his full frontal nudity shot in Playgirl…THANK GOD.
- Forever 21 will be debuting their new magazine this Friday. Think H&M style magazines.

- Television writer and producer Amy Sherman-Palladino is trying to make Gilmore Girls into a final movie to wrap up the story lines.
- Sony Pictures Television is trying to bring back Charlie’s Angels onto the television screen once again.
- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be designing a jewelry collection called the Protector for Asprey, which will all be based on a snake. Not surprised there.
- A Costco store in East Harlem, New York will now be selling discount designer bags. They are completely real, but the discount is probably not the discount you wish it would be.
Burberry’s mini satchel costs $1,019.99. A medium shopper tote by Tod’s is $549.99. The Ferragamo “Marissa” handbag goes for $629.99. And the Chanel bag costs $1,999.
Now, you can buy your purses and food all in the same place.

- The Ting Tings have signed with Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation.

Fall Ball was a success! We sold out at 1,185 people. Thank you to everyone who came and had a great time. Thanks to those who were respectful, appreciative and grateful to the Aquarium staff, volunteers and SEAC. This experience has been amazing for me. I’ve learned a lot through myself and through others and I’m so thankful for my SEAC family. I’m lucky to be working with such amazing people all the time.
As a sophomore, I have grown up so much this year. Never have I ever dealt with so many unruly people in one place before haha and it was a reminder slash wakeup call to me that I will never be one of them. I don’t think I have ever worked so hard at an event in my life and I’m so glad to have had an experience like this. At this point, I think I really gotta go back into music and I can’t wait to use what I have learned and come back even stronger than before. Enjoy the pictures of my SEAC staff and I. I’m so happy I had this time with them before the dance, it was the happiest I was all night!!
Thank you SEAC family for being amazing
Thank you USnaps for our AWESOME photobooth
Thank you Sound Factory for your entertainment and decorations
Thank you Nordstrom for my shoes and H&M for my wonderful dress and Stephanie Thompson for her skills in hemming.
Haters – I dgaf at this point :) your unhappiness is not anything I could have controlled, if anything it was probably your fault hah

Hayden Panettiere – I just feel like I don’t like the combination of the jacket with the leather pants. If her top were simple, it would work better. On a scale of 1-5 (1-worst – 5 best) -3

I like to think that I’m what you call a “Savvy Spender.” Since my senior year in high school, I have been very careful about my purchases. For the most part, I do my shopping at H&M and Forever 21. If I’m in the mood, I’ll hit up secondhand for a random purchase. For investment pieces, I turn towards Urban Outfitters and American Apparel and Anthropologie. Every piece that comes from one of these stores has been with me since the beginning. When I was a 16, I bought a gray Anthropologie cardigan with odd buttons. Not your standard cardigan. I’ve worn it at least ten different ways and I spent a good $100 on it. I wouldn’t normally spend that much on a cardigan, but I knew this piece would last me forever and I take very good care of it.
I don’t call my purchases items. I call them pieces. For pieces that are classic or timeless…I turn to Nordstrom. Today I bought a pair of black heels (above) from there. The last pair of black heels I bought from them lasted me from 8th grade to my sophomore year in college. It was time to retire them and replace them. PS every girl needs a pair of black high heels.
Nolita, welcome to the family :)

If you want a store that will rip off designers, Forever 21 is the place to go. No joke. It’s not a bad thing! I totally do it too. Intentionally.
I got my first Herve Leger inspired bandage dress there.
Last year I saw an exact replica of my dream homecoming dress from senior year.
I think I’m getting pretty good at spotting the fakes with the designers now haha
I just spotted a dress on their site that is exactly the same as on Shopnastygal.
And now this…

I get it. The peacock feathers are in this summer, but except for the top band it looks a lot like one of my dresses.
I guess this is what fast fashion is all about!
“This autumn, British accessory brand Jimmy Choo will bring its international glamour and covetable shoes and bags to selected H&M stores. The collection will be available from November 14 in around 200 stores across the world. It is the first time that H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand, and to celebrate Jimmy Choo will extend its design vision for this collection to women’s clothing to complement the accessories. Further exciting news is that this collaboration includes a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories.”

These skirts are everywhere, I assume they’ll be appearing in stores like H&M and Forever 21 in the next couple of months if they haven’t already.
